Tax season is over this week! My internship will officially come to an end Wednesday and will mark the end of long days and weekends at the office. We were in the office until late Friday night trying to get out as much work as possible so that Saturday would not be such a long day. I am hoping to have an easier time at work the first three days this week and I can get in some extra studying for the CPA exam, but I have to keep in mind that I have a final next week at school. If it was not for getting to work so early and studying there, I would not have been able to study much at all for the CPA exam since January. I am so ready for the end of semester and the end of the internship.
Starting Thursday I will have a new schedule for studying and will try to decide on my date for the exam. I am leaning toward giving myself six weeks so that I do not feel rushed and pressured. I do not like the idea of postponing the exam for that long, but I don’t feel that I have done the best that I should, because of the tough schedule this semester and especially at work. I am looking at the future and the other sections of the exam with a better understanding of what life holds if you are working and in school and trying to study. I highly recommend taking the exam as soon as possible. I really hope that I can get all four parts passed this year and avoid combining busy season and studying.
