I just finished the Audit section of the CPA exam. I just left the exam center and came home to sit down and relax. The four hours went by quickly for me. When I was confident that I was done with the exam, I had 15 minutes left on the clock. I had already reviewed all that I felt that I needed to review, so I hit the Exit button and finished the first of four parts of the CPA exam. What a relief it is to be done with one part. However, not knowing if I passed is unsettling. If I did not pass, at least I have a better idea of what the exam and the process of testing is all about.

Thanks to Gleim, there were no surprises when it came to the format of the exam. Until I took this exam, I never totally knew how well I was being prepared, but I now know that Gleim is awesome when it comes to preparing you. They give you questions, outlines, quizzes, and simulations that are excellent at preparing you for the concepts and processes of the test. The one thing that I did over the last week was to use the Gleim CPA Test Prep software, and it was great. I used the test mode and the study mode for many hours, days, and sessions and increased my knowledge of the material. The software tracks your progress and gives you performance graphs and statistics, so I took as many tests as possible until the last two days before the exam. At that point, I studied the performance information and found the study units and the subunits that I did not do very well on and made a list to review them. I studied them again and learned from each study unit in hopes that it would raise my test score.

For the rest of today I will try to decide which section I will take next. No matter which one it is, I’m sure that Gleim will prepare me adequately.
